Wood Wednesday: Original Wall Art

This small town where I grew up has lots of festival/ gatherings. When I was small there was always the Fourth of July parade and barbeque. After high school, I moved away. Now that we have moved back, I have noticed an explosion of festivals. Last month there was the F.I.G. (Friendswood Is Great) Festival and the Friendswood Family Festival. There was also the Catholic festival and the Heritage Gardeners spring tour. This weekend is "Art in the Park", sponsored by the Friendswood Fine Arts Institute.

FFAI also sponsored the art contest that I won last year. They offered me a free booth, so I will be at Stevenson Park this Saturday. I will have some of the same items from the F.I.G. Festival,

but the emphasis is going to be my watercolors.

Of course , I will have the "Connecting Our Community" winner.

And some others that I have at the house.

I love to paint, but what do you do with them after they are finished? I have run out of wall space. If you live in the Houston area, come to the "Art in the Park" and tell me "Hi!".

  1. Beautiful works. The one with a cock walking is lovely. If I were there I must come to your booth but I'm in Hong Kong. Viewing your works is fabulous.
