Because I will be out of pocket, this will be the last post for at least a week.
Now Wood Wednesday:
Several months ago a group from church went to an Asian restaurant after church. I have never mastered the use of chopsticks,so I just take them home. Remember the mantra: NEVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY! On this day, I collected all of the unused chopsticks at our table.
I had in my head to make a sunburst mirror.

That was in my head, which is a scary place to be. Well, with my usual jump right in without a clear plan, I started gluing (hot glue gun) the chop sticks around the edge of an old CD. They did not come out even and the big end was too bulky. So I cut the ends of the chopsticks off and staggered them long and short on the CD. I then glued another CD to the back and sprayed the whole thing gold.
Finally, I glued a 6" craft mirror to the front.
Later I may add some kind of trim around the mirror.
I don't know yet what I will do with this. It does not fit in my house.
See you all later. It's time to play with my wonderful grandson!
Good for you for jumping in and seeing what works! I think it looks great. Thanks for your kind comments on my table!
